Our Scholarships

The John Fitzpatrick Scholarship

John was our Regional Account Manager, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer at the beginning of 2021. He spent a lot of his free time teeing off with friends and business associates, which is why we decided this event was the best way to honor him and fund scholarships for deserving young women pursuing technology. In remembrance, we've created both a scholarship and annual golf classic in his name. This program was created to assist current college and graduate students studying Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering at a two- or four-year educational institution. John's enthusiasm for life was infectious-we hope to support scholars with the same level of enthusiasm for tech.

The Dawna J. Colbert Scholarship

Dawna was our Procurement Operations Manager. It was in no small measure, through her hard work, dedication, industry knowledge and her attention paid to enhancing great customer relationships, that has allowed TCGi to thrive. And Dawna did all this while battling cancer. Unfortunately, after fighting a good and valiant fight, Dawna passed away in early 2017.In remembrance, we've created the Dawna J. Colbert Scholarship for graduating high school seniors who intend to study Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering in college. We hope to support scholars that emulate Dawna's perseverance and passion.
